Calisthenics 2, Week 2

Introduction to Poetry
Black Cats Called Blood

Black cats calls blood,
as water hissed, tackling
the cementented walls;
swallowing the bowl
filled bones.

Black cats calls blood,
as wind twinkled
on one foot, lifting
his tall brown and green
partner legs from the world,
throwing her through the air.
Landing in a plea on white sheets,
gently crushing skulls, embedding
them into the mattress.

Black cats calls blood,
as traffic of bright light batons
pinched black wires, awakening dark.

Black cats called blood.
